Cambodia Hosts Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Security for Bilateral Talks

Phnom Penh, March 15, 2024 – In a diplomatic event, Hun Sen, President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King and President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Security from the Lao People's Democratic Republic for a courtesy meeting at the January 7 Palace earlier today.

Hun Sen, indicating the close cooperative relationship between the two Southeast Asian countries. The meeting is expected to facilitate dialogue on various issues, particularly enhancing bilateral security and furthering mutual interests within the region.

The visit exemplifies the ongoing commitment to fostering a secure and supportive environment in Southeast Asia, furthering discussions on cooperation in public security and other shared concerns between Cambodia and Laos.
